Funeral services for R. A. (Jack) Angus, 71, retired farmer, were held at 1:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home in Columbia, with the burial in Lynnwood Cemetery at Lynnville. Mr. Angus died Saturday, December 15, in Maury County Hospital.
A native of Giles County, he moved to Maury County in 1924. He married the former Miss Willie Mae Stewart in 1912. She survives.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Angus is survived by one son, Stewart Angus, Mooresville; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Hyle, Columbia, and Mrs. Milton Akin, Hampshire; four grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. W. H. Owens, Lynnville.
