HAROLD RAYMOND ANGLE, 81, of 7977 Royer Road, Mercersburg, died Thursday evening, Sept. 20, in Avalon Manor Nursing Home, Hagerstown, after a long illness.
Born June 2, 1903 near Welsh Run, he was a son of the late Harry David and Sadie (Sollenberger) Angle.
He was a retired farmer.
Angle was a member of the Welsh Run Church of the Brethren.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nellie V. (Shinham) Angle, six children: Mrs. David L. Mills,
Edenville, John E. Angle, "Greencastle, Kenneth R. Angle, Mercersburg; and Charles L. Angle,
Smithsburg, 10 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren He was the last of his immediate family
Services will be held at 2 pm Saturday in the Welsh Run Church of the Brethren, with the Rev Henry Hunsberger and the Rev. Russell Martin officiating.
Burial will be in the cemetery adjoining the church.
Friends may call at the church one hour before the services Saturday.
The family requests that flowers be omitted. Memorials may be made to Child Evangelism Fellowship in care of Dorothy Morter, 45 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, or to the Welsh Run Church of the Brethren.
Arrangements were made by the Minnich-Miller-May Funeral Home, Greencastle.
