Douglas Alan Angell
(July 29, 1981 - September 20, 2007)

Douglas Alan Angell, Carlton, MN, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 20, 2007, at the age of only 26 years. He was born on July 29, 1981 in Duluth to Alan and Jo Angell. Doug was a 1999 graduate of Carlton High School and worked his senior year at Carlton County Human Services Department. He has been employed by Upper Lakes Food in both Cloquet and Rhinelander, WI, for the past six years. He loved the outdoors, including hunting, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and a little fishing now and then, sketching, listening and "singing" all kinds of music, and challenging friends and family to Guitar Hero, and just "hanging out". He was always there to help anyone at anytime and was an inspiration. Doug was preceded in death by his grandfather, Earl Reed and grandmother, Bubble Bruley. He is loved and missed by his parents, Alan and Jo; brothers, Matt and Andy; Gramma Doris Reed; aunts and uncles, Chuck and Kay Johnson, Shirley Schmid, Kathy Barrett, Darrell and Barb Eaton, Brad and Irene Angell, Marty and Sandy Angell; many dear cousins, his special friend, Chandra, and all who knew him. We will certainly miss that crooked little smile he had for everyone. Visitation will be Monday, September 24, 2007 from 4:00 p.m. until the 6:00 p.m. memorial service at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Cloquet officiated by Pastor Rollie Bockbrader and Pastor Darrell Eaton. Music performed by Tom Cawcutt. Honorary Pallbearers are Josh Greensky, Josh Murray, Jay Wheale, Pete Clark, Chad Mackey, Dan Jones, Lenny Wallace III, Nate Parks, Nick Hanninen, Seth Johnson, Dan Adkins and Chad Duncan. The family has selected Nelson Funeral Care to assist them with arrangements.
