Corinne Bryant Angell, 76, of Roanoke, went to be with her Lord on Friday, February 16, 2007. Born July 30, 1930, in Botetourt County, she was a daughter of the late Joe M. and Mamie Bryant. She was predeceased by her sisters, Ethel Simmons and Frances Watson. Mrs. Angell was a longtime member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Luther B. Angell; daughter and son-in-law, Rita and William Brinner; son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Leslie Angell; grandson, Daniel Angell; stepgrandson, William Brinner, Jr.; stepgreatgranddaughter, Hannah Brinner all of Roanoke; brother, Joseph Bryant of Natural Bridge; three sisters, Betty Flippen of Vinton, Jane Figler of Avon, N.Y. and Linda Roye of Vinton; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family suggests that memorials be made to the Alzheimers Association, 2728 Colonial Ave, Suite 2, Roanoke, Va. 24015. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 18, 2007, at Oakey's North Chapel. The Rev. Rick Elmore will officiate. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday Febuary 17, 2007 at Oakey's North Chapel, 362-1237.
