New Berlin, Jan. 28 - Funeral services for the late Alfred J. Angell were held in the Baptist church here at 2 o'clock this afternoon, Rev. John MacCulloch officiating, with burial being made in Fairview cemetery.
His death occurred Friday at the home of his.sister-in-law, Mrs. Jennie Roney, in Pittsfield, after a month's illness. He had been a lifelong resident of Pittsfield, where he successfully
followed the vocation of farming and dairying.
Mr. Angell was born in Pittsfield April 9, 1858, the son Jonathon Angell and Cynthia Matteson. In 1881 he was married to Ida L. Roney, who died in 1931. Surviving are two brothers, Merton Angell of Norwich and Merlin Angell of Pittsfield. Several cousins also survive.- Sun
