Edna Marie Angel Anderson, 85 years of age, of Somerset, Kentucky, departed this life on Sunday, August 10th, 2014 at the Charleston Health Care Center in Danville, Kentucky.
Edna was born on August 31st, 1928 in Jellico, Tennessee, daughter of the late Pascal and Nola Nevada King Angel. She was a member of the New Life Church of God in Somerset, Kentucky.
Edna was survived by one daughter, Janie Diane (and Randy) Reese; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Randolph Reese, Jason Anderson (and Yvonne) Reese, and Julie Rebecca Reese (and Dan) Hudnall; five great-grandchildren, Kelsey Elizabeth Reese, Kyle Thomas Reese, Alexander Lee Hudnall, Reese Owen Hudnall, and Keirsten Keys Reese; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pascal Angel and Nola Nevada Angel; her husband, Thomas Owen Anderson; and three brothers, Cecil Angel, Hubert Angel, and Edward Angel.
Visitations were held on Thursday, August 14th, 2014 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky.
Graveside services were held at 2:30 p.m. at the Mill Springs National Cemetery with Edna's son-in-law, Randy Reese officiating.
Burial followed in the Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, Kentucky.
