Mr Andricks was born in Clarinda, Jan 6, 1857, in a house on the site of the present plant of the Iowa-Nebraska Light and Power company. He was the son of Mr and Mrs G.W. Andricks.
Mr Andricks was well known about Clarinda where he mowed yards. He did his work well and was extremely honest. He was always smiling and good natured.
He is survived by one brother, Frank, of East Dubuque, Ill, and three sisters, Mrs H.F. Ireton of Lincoln, Nebr, Mrs Henry Barker, of Uplands, Calif, and Mrs R.A. Merriott, of Claremont, Calif. Mr Andricks and Mrs Ireton were here to attend the funeral, which was held Wednesday afternoon at the Harmon Funeral home. Rev D.J. Shenton was the officiating minister. Andricks closed his obscure but useful career Monday Oct 21st, at the age of 72 years, 9 months and 15 days. He was born Jan 6, 1857, the son of G.W. and Catherine Andricks, and is survived by his brother, Frank Andricks of Dubuque, Ia, and three sisters, Mrs H.F. Ireton of Lincoln, Neb, Mrs Henry Barker of Uplands, Calif, and Mrs R.A. Merritt of Claremont, Calif. The brother Frank and sister Mrs Ireton were present at the funeral services, which were held Wednesday afternoon at the Harmon Funeral Home, conducted by the Methodist pastor, Dr D.J. Shenton.
