The town of Lake Arthur was started in 1890. They had a small cemetery on the banks of a creek. Anna was believed to be buried in the cemetery. Over the years, floods totally washed away the entire cemetery. There are no records of who was buried in the cemetery.

Anna had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. Her favorite song was one that she would sing every night before going to bed. From stories passed down in the family, it was a rather sad song.
