Alice Kittridge (Kit) Andrews, 93, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2010, at Oakmont West Nursing Home.

Born in Hartford, Conn., she was the daughter of the late Lester and Gertrude Gesner Kettridge. Mrs. Andrews was a resident of the Greenville area since 1957.

She is survived by her daughters: Elizabeth Gilreath (Alvin) of Travelers Rest and Nancy Murphy (Hugh) of Niskayuna, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by her husband A. Raymond Andrews; and a son, Allen Raymond Andrews, Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2010, at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will be at their respective homes.

To a very special lady who loved her cats. I will always remembger Triscuit. You had such an amazing talent to making clothes & all kinds of crafts. The quilts were amazing. It's what triggered me to start doing exactly the same.
