Cassie L. Hallenbeck-Alfano, 96, formerly of Lawrence Street, Oswego, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002, at St. Luke Health Services in Oswego.
A native of Fulton, Mrs. Alfano was a life resident of the Fulton area. She retired after 48 years at Sealright Company. Mrs. Alfano was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fulton. She was a member of Elk's Lodge 830, B.P.O.E. Auxiliary in Fulton where she received the Elk of the Year Award. She was also a member of the Fulton and Oswego . She was predeceased by her husband, Floyd Hallenbeck and Benny Alfano.
Surviving are six sisters, Jane Rankin, Harriet Meagher , Maude Long and Claudia Drake, Barbara Guynn and Virginia Plank; a brother, Leo Andrews ; and several nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton. Contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church memorial fund, 1408 State Route 176, Fulton, N.Y. 13069.
