Davenport, Iowa - Mrs. Mathilda Plumb, 80, died at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Wehmeyer, 532 West Eight Street.

Mrs. Plumb, daughter of the later Theodore and Mathilda Dorothea Learch Andrews, was born Aug. 31, 1870 in Petersdorf, Fehmann Island, Germany, and came to this country at the age of 13. She was married to Stephen Pope Plumb in Davenport, Aug. 31, 1889.

Surviving are a son, Leo A., Wapello; a daughter, Mathilda Alice Wehmeyer; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and 2 brothers, Ben Andrews, Moline, and Theodore Andrews, Harrisonville, Mo.

Preceding her in death were her husband, two sons, Stephen A and George A, infant daughter, Grace, born in 1907 and stillborn son born in 1914, five grandchildren, Gwendolynn, Elizabeth, Vivian, Phillip and Kenneth, two brothers, Christian and Herman Andrews and five sisters, Catherine Speth, Amanda Buck, Bertha Stevens,and Amelia Boeck and a twin sister to Amelia.

The body was removed to the Runge Mortuary. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
