URIAH — Helen Andrews, former teacher in the Monroe County schools, died Friday in a Mobile hospital. She was 76. Mrs. Andrews, a native of Monroe County, lived in Uriah, where she was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church. She received her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Alabama State University. Survivors include one son, Mose A. Andrews of Uriah; two daughters, Helen Marie Clausell of Mobile and Carolyn B. Dailey of Houston; one brother, Arthur E. Brown of Pensacola; one sister, Carolyn B. Williams of Tuskegee; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Morning Star Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Jones Funeral Home is Monroeville is handling arrangements.
