Died at the Lincoln House, in this city, Tuesday morning, Feb. 17, 1880, Mrs. J.H. Andrews, in the thirty fifth year of her age.
The deceased had been a resident of Boone only about a month, having been brought here on a sick bed from Chicago the 18th of January. She has been ill for many months, the complaint being consumption of the bowels complicated with other ailments. She leaves a husband, and two little boys, one four and the other six years old, to mourn her loss. Mr. Andrews has just entered the ranks of our business men, and thus finds a rather sad introduction to life in Boone, but we are sure that, although a stranger to most of our people, he will find a ready sympathy at their hands for himself and his bereaved little ones. The funeral took place Wednesday at the Lincoln House, Rev. J.A. Donahey, of the First Presbyterian church, conducting the service.
