ROSSVILLE, GA - Freddie B. Andrews, 84, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, September 26, 2010, at a local hospital.
She was a native of Kensington, Ga., and had lived in the Chattanooga and North Georgia area most of her life.
Mrs. Andrews retired from DuPont Chemical Co. after 32 years of service, and also the J.C. Penney Co. She had been a member of Immanuel Baptist Church for over 70 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas William Andrews; and daughter, Regina Daniels; and sister, Arlene Pharr.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Ilene Andrews, of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Shannan Andrews, Rev. Jeff Daniels and Lea Baker; great-grandchildren, Josh Wilburn, Jeremy Wilburn, Shelby Baker, Nicole Daniels, Scott Daniels; brother, Sonny Brown, of Chickamauga; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with the Rev. Greg Nash and Rev. Clifton Brown officiating.
Burial will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friend today from 4-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, Rossville, GA.
