Service: A private service will be held Friday. The Rev. Dr. Tim Carson will officiate. Angie will be laid to rest in Greenwood Mausoleum. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
A native of Fort Worth, Angie was born April 30, 1916, the daughter of Tom Scoma and Rosie DePuma Scoma. She was a graduate of Central High School. In 1940, she met Paul Eugene Andrews and on Friday, Sept. 13, 1941, she married the love of her life in First Christian Church in downtown Fort Worth.
Angelyn "Angie" was active in the Fort Worth Woman's Club, Ridglea Hills Garden Club, and AMITA Club of Fort Worth. Angie was an avid bridge player and competed in many duplicate bridge tournaments. In her later years she spent endless hours studying and compiling her family genealogy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; her brother, Pete Scoma; and her sister, Eleanor Scoma Barker.
Survivors: Son, Paul E. Andrews Jr. and wife, Judy; daughter, Deborah Andrews Hartman and husband, W.A. "Buddy," all of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Christopher Paul Andrews and wife, Erin, Jennifer Andrews Moore and husband, Joel, Emelie Andrews Graham and husband, William, Andrea Ware Cisneros and husband, Luis, Allison Ware Beck and husband, Jay, Alicia Ware Cheatham and husband, Robert, Ashley Ware Herron and husband, Michael, Rachel Hartman, Jacqueline Hartman Bainbridge and husband, Donnie; great-grandchildren, Grayce Maurine, Eilea Ruth and Olive Malyn Andrews, Tatum Elaine, Emelie Parker and Kimbell Ann Moore, Abigail Dianne, Aiden Matthew and Anna Kathryn Beck, Willies Joseph "Trey" Hunt III, Kane Emanuel Salinas, Amber Lee Raza, Colby Thomas, Greyson Dean and Riley Michelle Bainbridge; nieces, Patsy Coppick and Bonnie Kay Hayes; close family friends, Joey and Cynthia Tress, Carolyn Lawson; and her staff, Mary Herrera, Annette Sanders and Loretta Rowe.
