Louis W. Andres, 93, Georgetown, formerly of New Albany, died Saturday morning, March 15, 2008, at Beehive Assisted Living in Georgetown.

He was retired from Smith Transfer Inc. and Huber & Huber Trucking Co. after 40 years.

Survivors include a son, Dennis G. Andres of Floyds Knobs; a daughter, Marian J. Herthel of Georgetown; a sister, Agnes Book of Bradford; a brother, Irvin Andres of Floyds Knobs; and three granddaughters.

Visitation: Tuesday, March 18, from 1 to 8 p.m. at Generations Funeral Home in New Albany.

Funeral Mass: Wednesday, March 19, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Albany followed by burial in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial gifts to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
