ALMA ELIZABETH ANDREASON was called home at the age of 78 on Tuesday, September 14, 2010. She was born September 8, 1932 in Alexandria, LA and attended Bolton High School. She also retired from Pasadena Independent School District in 1991 after 20 years of service.

Alma loved to travel and her greatest joy in life was her family. Alma had such a strong conviction to her Catholic faith there are not enough words to express her devotion. She was a parishioner of St Paul the Apostle Catholic church in Nassau Bay, TX.

Alma was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Andreason, parents George and Sybil Porto, sister Joyce Neck, brother Vince Gigliotta and special aunt Virginia Guillot. She also leaves behind her children: Mark and wife Terri Andreason, Carl Andreason, Guy Andreason, Tracy Andreason Samford and Kelly and husband, Harvey Munive; also, her grandchildren: Justin Andreason, Shane Samford, Adam Andreason, Jonathan Andreason, Guy Daniel Andreason, Stephen Andreason, Monica and husband, David Studemeyer, Ryan Samford, Andrea Munive, Nicholas Samford; and also her great granddaughter Ryleigh Studemeyer; also sister Marie and husband, Bill Erwin, brother Frank and wife, Barbara Gigliotta and brother Guy and wife, Beverly Porto; along with numerous cherished, loving relatives and friends.

Loving and dedicated Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Sister in law and Aunt; we will miss you dearly. You will live on in our hearts forever; we love you.

Family respects and viewing will be from 5pm to 6pm on Sunday September 19, 2010. The Rosary and visitation will follow from 6pm to 8pm. A celebration of life is planned for Monday September 20, 2010 at 2pm with Deacon Wallace Shaw officiating and Pastor Ronnie Jordan assisting and the interment will follow. All will be at Freeport-Lakewood Funeral Home, 98 N Dixie Dr Lake Jackson, TX 77566.
