William Kenneth Andreason "Bill" William Andreason, 82, loving and devoted husband and father, slipped quietly from this life June 30, 2004 with his wife of almost 62 years at his side.He was born in Arco, Idaho March 22, 1922, the ninth of 10 children to Louis Daniel and Lenora Ann Allred Andreason. He grew up in Bingham Canyon and graduated from Bingham High School. On December 4, 1943 he married Fay Clayson just three days after they met. They were later sealed in the Jordan River Temple. Their marriage was blessed with four sons. He served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Natrona (1944-46) during World War II. He was em-ployed at Kennecott Copper for 43 years, retiring as a locomotive engineer. He also worked for the Bingham Police Department. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and shared these activities with his family. He learned carpentry skills from his father and was always involved in a remodeling job or a new project. He enjoyed traveling and had choice adventures with his wife as they visited many places. In their later years, Bill and Fay spent countless hours in their yard gardening and maintained a yard known for its beautiful flowers. He loved his ancestors and spent years compiling histories and picture albums. He had a unique sense of humor and was a masterful storyteller. He delighted in always having a story or joke to share with family, friend or ward member. Most of all, Bill loved his family. He was admired, loved and respected and will be missed. He left a legacy of hard work, determination, service, faith and love. He is survived by his loving wife, sons and their wives, 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, William (Billy); his parents; his brothers, Louis, Dean, Don; and sisters, Faunelle, Clara, Ruth, Iva, Ida, and Norene. Funeral services will Wednesday, July 7 in the Mount Jordan 5th Ward LDS Chapel, 9331 South 300 East, Sandy. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
