A. ANDERSON DEAD.
After a lingering illness of about two months, A. Anderson died at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon at his home on the Mansfield road near this city. He was a Swede and was aged 63 years. He was a good citizen, respected and honored by all who knew him. For a number of years he was in the maritime service of the United States engaged in the improvement of the Red River.
The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louis Anderson, who for years had a millinery store on Market street near Milam, and by four daughters, Mrs. F. W. Raines, of Tuskegee, Ala., and Mrs. Vesa Russell, Mrs. W. H. Mitchell and Mrs. Eva Peebles, all of this parish.
Funeral services will be held at the family home this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment in Oakland cemetery at 4 o'clock.
