Dies At Louisville

Word has been received here that burial services for George H. Anderson, 88-year -old former resident of Hopkinsville, will be conducted at Riverside Cemetery Monday at 1 p. m.

Mr. Anderson died suddenly Friday morning at Louisville at the home of his brother, J. E. (Dick) Anderson, with whom he had been living since the death of his sister, Mrs. Ellis A. Davis, in 1946

Born May 20. 1865, Mr Anderson was the son of the late W. H. and Eliza Cates Anderson. He was married in 1903 to Miss Ethel King who died a year later.

The fifth member of a family of 10 children, Mr. Anderson is survived only by the brother with whom he lived and several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. T. O. Wadlington and Mrs. M. G. Wadlington of this city.

Mr. Anderson was a member of the First Methodist Church here for many years, later uniting with the Cresent Hill Methodist Church of Louisville, where the funeral will be conducted tomorrow afternoon.
