Anna Anderson Funeral Saturday
Funeral services for Anna V. Anderson will be held Saturday October 3, 1992 at 10:30 a.m. at the Evangelical Free Church in Oakland. She died on Sun. Sept. 27 at Oakland Heights in Oakland at the age of 93 years.
The Rev. Ken Cooper will officiate. Billye Pearson will be the organist and Patty Miller the soloist.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren; James Anderson. Lorie Anderson, Ann Larson, Curt Rennander, Irma Pearson, Arlene Anderson, Harold Anderson, Lula Koester and Eric Anderson. Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery. Palmquist Pelan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Anna Victoria Anderson was born to C. August and Hannah (Hanson) Johnson on Dec. 6, 1897 at Argo, Nebraska. Anna married Henning S. Anderson on April 2, 1919. To this union three children were born; Donald E., Phyllis A. and William H. Anderson.
She was a lifetime member of the Evangelical Free Church. Anna was a member of the Oakland Garden Club and an extension club at Uehling. She has lived in Oakland the past forty years.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, three brothers, her husband, Henning and one daughter, Phyllis Rennander.
Survivors include one sister, Agnes Peterson, Turlock Calif., two sons, Donald E. and wife Phyllis Anderson, Fremont and Rev. William B. and Opal Anderson, Pender; nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, one great great grandchild, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Memorial may be sent to the church.
Visitation is Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Palmquist Pelan Funeral Home. There will be a prayer service Friday at 7:30 p.m.hhw
