Zane "Maw" Heavener, 78, died Friday, October 31, 2008 at her residence in Walnut, MS. She was born September 25, 1930 to Euclid Murray Anderson and Jimmie Lee Turner Anderson. She was a member of Tiplersville Church of Christ and the epitome of a homemaker to her children and grandchildren. She was also an integral part of Baptist Memorial Hospital -Memphis for 24 years as a supervisor in central supply until retirement.
Services November 2, 2008 at Ripley Funeral Home Chapel with Pulpit Minister Garry Martin officiating. Burial in Chapman Church of Christ Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Dolph "Paw" Heavener of Walnut; one daughter, Sherry Warmath (John) of Marion, AR; two sons, Lionel Heavener (Shelley) of Walnut, and Harv Cross Heavener (Celia) of Walnut; four sisters, Bobbye A. Meeks of Walnut, Treva Moore (Van) of Ripley, Brenda Noel of Dry Creek, and Linda Tigrett (Billy) of Dry Creek; one brother, Glenn Anderson (Shirley) of Somerville, TN; nine grandchildren, Serena Lee Williams of Jackson, TN, Nathan Elliott Warmath of Marion, AR, Lionel Deen Heavener II of Walnut, Deena D. Heavener Mayo of Wheeler, Tyler Deen Heavener of Walnut, Jenna Zane Heavener of Walnut, Matthew Moreland of Walnut, Kaleb Cross Heavener of Walnut; five great-grandchildren, Hanna Sue Wren Heavener, Hailee Marie Heavener, and Lionel Deen Heavener III of Pocahontas, TN, Dylan Mayo and Matti Mayo of Wheeler.
She was preceded in death by one son, Larry Delane Heavener; her parents, Euclid Murray Anderson and Jimmie Lee Turner Anderson; one sister, Wanda Bullock; two brothers, James M. Anderson and Jerry T. Anderson. Pallbearers will be Nathan Elliott Warmath, Wyatt Hardy Nelms, Tyler Deen Heavener, Matthew Moreland, Christopher Tigrett, Matthew Mayo, Wendell Allan Booker, Jr., Lionel Deen Heavener, II
