Ole Alfred Anderson was born April 12, 1905 to parents Hans and Hannah (Anderson) Anderson in Ellendale, North Dakota. He was baptized in North Dakota and later confirmed at Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church of Hanley Falls.
Ole married Ethel M. Ruud in Lake Benton, Minnesota on October 31, 1937. They made their life in Hanley Falls with farming in their early years and later operating a Pop Factory and the Anderson Recreation.
Ole moved to Yankton, South Dakota and owned and operated the Sportsman Bar with his brother-in-law. He returned to Hanley Falls and worked for Mooney Construction as a bookkeeper.
Ole and Ethel resided in Hanley Falls until the fall of 1994 when they moved to the Belview Nursing Home and then to the Clarkfield Care Center. In July of 1995, they moved to Hillstreet Apartments in Marshall.
Ole passed away on Wednesday morning, August 9, 1995 at the Weiner Memorial Nursing Home at the age of 90 years, 3 months, and 29 days.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel; sister Evelyn Loomis and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.
