Mr. Anderson was a retired electrician, and a 50 year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #816. He was a member of New Zion Baptist Church, and was very active with the Blood River Baptist Builders, Kentucky Changers, Baptist Disaster Relief and Habitat for Humanity. He was a World War II veteran of the United States Army serving in the Pacific Theater.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie York Anderson of Benton, KY; two sons, Barry L. Anderson and his wife Karen and Denis L. Anderson and his wife Debbie all of Benton, KY; two granddaughters, Kara Anderson and Nicole Anderson; and two grandsons, Sean Anderson and Ryan Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emit Anderson and Lona Beasley Anderson.
