Eliza Anderson was the daughter of Robert Anderson (b. 1813/1814 in Ireland; d. 7 Jul 1900) and Mary ? Anderson (b. 1814/1815 in Ireland; d. 22 Aug 1887). It is not believed that the two Anderson families were related. Later, Eliza married John Anderson on February 12, 1856 in Ireland. They had nine children:
