David Elmer Anderson, traveling salesman, 1336 N.Monroe street, died at 9:10 o'clock Wednesday night at the Decatur and Macon County hospital. He would have been fifty five years old in November. He had been ill for three weeks, suffering with gall stones. A week ago he submitted to a surgical operation.
Mr.Anderson was born in Clay city, Nov. 8, 1867. He had lived in Decatur for the last twenty years. During most of that time he was employed as a traveling salesman. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias and the Modern Woodmen of America.
Mr.Anderson is survived by his wife and two daughters, Miss Gertrude Anderson of Decatur and Mrs.Ethel Davis of St.Louis.He also leaves two brothers,Ellsworth Anderson of Seymour and Frank Anderson of Whiting,Ind.
The body was removed to Dawson & Wikoff undertaking establishment.
