Pioneer Mother
Daughter of Elijah Anderson, Soldier of American Revolution & Elvira Brack. Married William Shepperd in Georgia,Feb. 22, 1802. Husband Died 1824 in Alabama. Led her family to Texas in 1845, where with help of Sons & slaves built one of the first homes in this area - a log cabin that stood for over 100 years.
