Swan P. Anderson, 68 years old, died at a Denver hospital last Thursday night after a brief illness with pneumonia. The body was brought to Wray Saturday and was buried with the Masonic ritual at Grandview cemetery Sunday afternoon. The service was in charge of the local Masonic lodge. Mr. Anderson was born in Sweden. He homesteaded near Yuma in 1886 living near there for about six years. For many years he was employed in the mines of this state and for the last few years, his home has been in Denver. Mr. Auderson was well known here, having visited his father here. His father is buried in Grandview cemetery and Mr. Anderson's remains were laid beside that of his parent. He was unmarried and was survived by a brother, Oscar Pierson, of Sterling. Mr. Pierson, was at one time an employee of this paper and is well known in Wray. He was with his brother at the time of his brother's death in Denver and accompanied the remains to Wray.
