Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Methodist church in Wray with Rev. William Willcox officiating for Mrs. D. T. Anderson, a beloved resident of this community for many years. Burial was in the family plot at Grandview cemetery.
Lois Ellen Bouton, daughter of Thompson P. and Mary Elizabeth Bouton, was born November 9, 1874, at Princeton, Ill., and died August 5, 1953, at Wray at the age of 78 years, 8 months and 27 days.

In early childhood she moved with her parents to Worth County, Mo. On October 3, 1899, she was united in marriage to David Thompson Anderson of Sheridan, Mo. To them three children were born, Ray, Lois and Dorothy. With her family she moved to Wray in 1916 and settled on a farm seven miles south of town. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Christian church and of the Vernon Community Club. In 1936 they moved to Wray where they lived for three years. Since the death of her husband in 1939, she alternately made her home at Wray and Loveland. Following an illness seven years ago she became an invalid. Since that time, she had made her home with her daughter Lois at Loveland until this spring. At that time she returned to visit her other daughter, Dorothy, south of Wray. On June 2 she was hospitalized at the Community hospital here and remained there until her death.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by her three children, Raymond T. Anderson and Mrs. Roy Donovan of Wray and Mrs. Bruce Nicholson of Loveland; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Parker of Payson, Okla., Mrs. Ivy Cartmill of Edmond, Okla., and Mrs. Viola Saffell of Dixon, Mont.; three grandchildren, Mrs. Orval Eastin of Wray, Mrs. Benny Leighton of Gove, Kan., and Mrs. Paul Scott of Worland, Wyo., and five great grandchildren She was devoted to her home which she blessed as a loyal wife and loving mother and was held in the highest affection by a large number of friends.
