Edwin C. Anderson, age 79, a resident of the Town of Porterfield, died Sunday at Pel-Bar Convalescent Home in Peshtigo, Wisconsin. A farmer for many years in the Town of Porterfield, Mr. Anderson retired 17 years ago. He was born August 22, 1885 in Sweden and came to the Porterfield area in 1890. He married the former Ella Erickson in 1914 at Porterfield Lutheran Church.
She survives along with three sons, Carl of West Bend, Wisconsin; Howard of Porterfield and Warren of Seney, Michigan; a daughter Mrs. Clarice (Ivan) McDougal of Memphis, Tennessee and 14 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Hansen and Onion Funeral Home until Tuesday at 2 p.m. when final riets will be conducted by the Rev. A.P. Anderson. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Marinette, Wisconsin.
