Georgia Anne Rogers was the daughter of John Peter and Nellie (Kanum) Anderson. She was born in Snohomish County, Washington Territory on March 20, 1870.

She was married in March 1890 at Arlington, Washington to Leonidust Rogers, a veteran of the Civil War. Her grown children were listed as Mercedes Bates, Laura Berrand, Vicenza Abbott, Lambert C. Rogers, Elzina Freese, Mae White and Stanley Rogers.

Her husband died April 24, 1925 and was buried at the Washington Veterans' Home Cemetery. She maintained membership in the Home but lived elsewhere. She was discharged from the home on August 9, 1951.

Mrs. Rogers passed away on January 5, 1958 in Seattle. She is buried in the Home Cemetery in Retsil.
