Velma Lee Anderson was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma , on July 11, 1946, to William Napoleon Sellers and Sally Ann (Scott) Sellers. Velma passed peacefully from this life on May 28, 2014, at her home in Welling, at the age of 67 years 10 months and 17 days. Velma was a lifelong resident of Cherokee County. She was raised in the Welling area and attended Welling Grade School. Velma enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Velma is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Anderson; daughter, Kelly Lipford; and grandson James Deckard.
