Clifford Paul "Andy" Anderson, 74, of Shawnee, died Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, in Shawnee.

Clifford was born June 5, 1936, in Bristol, Va., to Paul C. Anderson and Betty Margaret "Jones" Anderson, but was raised in Richmond, Ind., and graduated from Richmond High School. He was stationed in Spokane, Wash., while enlisted. Clifford married Marylyn Carter March 31, 1956, in Borger, Texas. He served his country proudly in the Air Force where he became a jet engine mechanic. Clifford was a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church where he served on the Building and Grounds committee, the Long Range committee and was also a church trustee. In 1964, he settled in the Shawnee area where they made their permanent home.

Clifford was preceded in death by one son, Chris Anderson; father, Paul Anderson; two sisters, Barbara Walters and Wanda Stevens; one brother, Danny Anderson.

Survived by wife, Marylyn Anderson, of the home; two daughters, Andria and Robert Johnson, of Shawnee, Eva and Rex Davidson, of Mustang; one son, Neil and Lisa Anderson, of Shawnee; six grandchildren, Amanda and Patricia Johnson, Kyle and Colby Anderson, Colton and Rylie Davidson; mother, Betty Anderson, and brother, Jerry Anderson, of Richmond, Ind.; one sister, Judy Gilmore, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and brother, Gene Anderson, of Bristol, Tenn.

Service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, at Rock Creek Baptist Church with Brother Richard Zimmer officiating.
