Hellen Allen, 87, Lone Wolf, died Thursday at Elkview General Hospital in Hobart. Funeral services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church of Lone Wolf with the Rev. Jim Riley officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Wolf Cemetery under the direction of Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home, Lone Wolf.
She was born July 12, 1915, in Lone Wolf to George P. and Mary E. (Wisdom) Anderson. She attended school at Soldiers Spring. She married Clarence Allen Dec. 18, 1932, in Lone Wolf. She had lived in Nevada and California. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and crafts. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary; brothers W.T. Anderson, Albert Anderson, Marshall Anderson, Tillman Anderson and Olin Anderson; sisters Floy Davis, Edythee Davis, Ressie Brown and Odessa Bay.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Clarence, of the home in Lone Wolf; brother Leon Anderson and wife Joyce of Hobart; sister Blanche Snider and husband Waylon of Altus and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
