Mrs. Elizabeth Anderson, nee Plummer,
was born on February 29, 1882, in West
Liberty, Morgan County, Kentucky, and
died on May 27, 1934 at Frankfort, Kansas
When she was nine months old she moved
with her parents to Lamonte, Missouri,
where they lived three years. Then they
moved to Kansas City, Missouri. Here she
grew to young womanhood.
On June 12, 1915 she united in marriage
with H.R. Anderson of Bigelow, Kansas.
they made their home on Mr. Anderson’s
farm near Bigelow, until the spring of 1928,
when her health was failing and they
moved to Frankfort, Kansas. Two children
where born to this union, one son, who
died in infancy, and a daughter Margaret
Ellen.
When Mrs. Anderson was about fifteen she
became a member of the Bales Avenue
Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri.
Then later she transferred to the Mersington
Heights Evangelical Church in Kansas City.
When she moved to Bigelow, Kansas she
transferred to the Methodist Episcopal
Church at Barrett and when the family
moved to Frankfort she attended the Meth-
odist church. She was a member of the
Win One Circle in Sunday School. In
the Barrett community she was a member
of the Calendar Coterie Club.
She is survived by her husband, H. Roy;
one daughter, Margaret Ellen; one sister,
Mrs. C.L. Thompson, Kansas City, Mo.;
four brothers, William Plummer and
Thomas Plummer, Kansas City, Louis L.
Plummer, St. Louis, Mo. Ace Plummer,
Oil Hill, Kansas.
Funeral services were held at the First
Methodist Church on Tuesday, May 29,
1934 at 2:00 p.m.
Interment was in the Frankfort Cemetery,
Frankfort, Kansas.
