MRS. ANNA ANDERSON
DIES AT OTTUMWA

Mrs, Anna Anderson, 90, died in the Van Dyke Nursing home, Ottumwa, Tuesday, Jan 19, 1954. She had been there the past year.

Mrs. Anderson, daughter of George and Rhoda Briggs, as born in Eddyville Sept. 22, 1863 She was the last of seven children and her parents were early settlers in Eddyville.

She was first married to Jake Hohl, who died in 1920. In Feb. 1922 was married to J.P. Anderson, who preceded her in death Aug. 31, 1953.

Mrs, Anderson is survived by two step sons, Leslie Anderson, Alta, and Walter Anderson, Ottumwa, and three step-daughters, Mrs. Emma Powell, Albia, Mrs. Simon Jager, Batavia, and Mrs. Walter Brown, Bloomfield.

Funeral services were held from the L.W. Klein Funeral home Thursday afternoon with Rev. James Robbins, pastor of the Congregational church, officiating. Burial was made in Highland cemetery.
