Arthur "Butch" L. Anderson, age 68 of Menominee, MI passed away on August 5, 2009 at Bay Area Medical Center. Born on December 26, 1940, he was the son of Lillian (Anderson) Huss and the late Arthur Anderson.
He attended Peshtigo Schools and worked for Swede the Baker in Peshtigo. Arthur joined the United States Navy at the age of 18, was a 21 year veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He loved to cook and was an excellent chef.
Arthur is survived by his mother, Lillian Huss of Peshtigo, WI;
a son Willie (Kristie) Anderson of St.Cloud, MN;
a daughter Lauera Prestine of Peshtigo, WI;
a brother Wesley (Julie) Anderson;
a sister Susan (David) Goddard;
a brother-in-law Bill Marquardt;
4 grandchildren, Kinlee Prestine, Alex Prestine, McKenna Anderson and Avery Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister Karin Marquardt. Burial at Riverside Cemetery, Peshtigo, WI with Military Rites.
