They were blessed with two sons, Douglas and Kim. Earl passed away in 1965. Leah was the owner at one time of the Ute Motel in Vernal. She raised her two sons through high School and college. She was active in her church callings, a den mother, primary president, visiting teacher, mutual and librarian.

When she was older, she volunteered several years as a Pink Lady.

On Feb.1, 1969, she married Melvin (Duff) Anderson. Duff and Leah loved their Temple work. They spent four years in the Provo Temple and several years in the Vernal Temple until their health failed. They had great times square dancing and visiting family and friends.
