The 69-year old retired judge also served as a clerk in the County Court Clerk's office along with being active in many civic and community affairs. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Frank and Nannie Dudney Anderson.
Funeral services for Mr. Anderson were conducted Thursday, August 2, from the chapel of Anderson Funeral Home with J.P. Anderson and J.T. West officiating. Interment was in Draper Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Molene Bilbrey Anderson of the home; one son, Edward Anderson and one daughter, Mrs. Marie Carlisle, both of Gainesboro; five brothers, Carl, J.T, Ray, Howard and Haggard, all of Gainesboro; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Parker, Gainesboro; Mrs. Mary Sadler, Livingston and Mrs. Elizabeth Davis, Detroit, MI; one grandchild.
