Miss Betty Jean Anderson, 58, of 327 Linville Road, Mount Airy, passed away Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. Miss Anderson was born Oct. 9, 1950, to the late Raymond and Florence Inez Ward Anderson. She was an occupational therapy assistant. Surviving are one sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Tom Gaillard of Chesnee, S.C.; three brothers and sisters–in-law, Ray and Wanda Anderson of Denver, Dennis Anderson of Union, S.C., and Darrell and Debby Anderson of Mount Airy; nieces, Shannon Anderson and Melanie Sweeney, both of Mount Airy, and Tina and Tracy Price of Denver; and a nephew, Danny Anderson of Stanley. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009, at 3 p.m. at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy with services conducted by Chaplain Rennie Adcock with burial to follow in the Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 p.m. until time for the service at Moody Funeral Home.
