Catherine and Luther Anderson and his first cousin Mary Anderson and Wesley Baggett were married in a double wedding on December 14, 1913 in Clarke Co. MS by Rev. R.W. Sumrall.

Catherine Anderson died at Jones Chapel while attending Sunday night church services. Her obituary in the Meridian Star said that "she was born and reared in the community in which she died and her Christian life was an inspiration to all with whom she came in contact." She is remembered with love by her descendants.
