Eric Jordan Anderson was a Warren County native and attended Western Kentucky University and was an employee of Papa John's Pizza. He was a 2004 graduate of Greenwood High School, where he was a member of the Greenwood High School Band, playing the trumpet for four years. He was a member of Western Kentucky University Phi Mu Alpha fraternity and a member of the Big Red Band. Eric loved the outdoors and was especially fond of disc golf. He was a son of Steve and Lou Anderson of Alvaton, who survive. He was preceded in death by a maternal grandmother, Gertrude Browning; and his paternal grandparents, Stanley and Evelyn Anderson.

Other survivors include a brother, Jon Anderson of Alvaton; maternal grandparents, Ben and Ann Browning of Lebanon; a paternal stepgrandfather, Monroe Reynolds of Lebanon; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Burial was in Old Liberty Cemetery in Lebanon.

Eric Jordan Anderson, 21, Alvaton, died at 7:34 p.m., Aug. 20, 2007, at his residence. A native of Warren County, Anderson attended Western Kentucky University and was an employee of Papa John's Pizza. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by: his maternal grandmother, Gertrude Browning; and paternal grandparents, Stanley and Evelyn Anderson. Survivors include: his parents, Steve and Lou Anderson of Alvaton; one brother, Jon Anderson of Alvaton; maternal grandparents, Ben and Ann Browning of Lebanon; and paternal step-grandfather, Monroe Reynolds of Lebanon. A Mass of Christian burial was held Aug. 24 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with graveside services at Old Liberty Cemetery, Bradfordsville. Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home, Alvaton, was in charge of the arrangements.
