Mrs. Cyrus Bundy, 101, 701 E. Seventh St., South Sioux City, died Friday at a Sioux City hospital after a long illness.
The former Mary E. Anderson, Mrs. Bundy was born Jan. 4, 1970, at Salem, Ind. She was married to Cyrus Bundy in 1889 at Salem. The couple moved to Sioux City in 1918 and to South Sioux City in 1947. Mr. Bundy died April 14, 1956 in South Sioux City.
Survivors include three sons, Roy of Salem, Carl of South Sioux City and Harry of Hinton, Iowa; two daughters, Mrs. Emmett (Beatrice) Warriner of Salem and Mrs. Walter (Eva) Kampfe of South Sioux City; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 27 great-great-grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Jack Becker Funeral Home in South Sioux City.
Note: Mary E. Bundy was predeceased by her son Roger Edward Bundy who died in Oakland, CA on September 9, 1947.
