Mary Elizabeth Anderson, 66, wife of Charles Anderson of Afton, died suddenly of a heart attack Tuesday morning at 1:30 a.m. at her home here.
Funeral services will be held today (Friday) at 11 a.m. in the Afton South Ward chapel, with Neal Kennington of the Bishopric officiating. The Schwab Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs Anderson was born at Belington West Virginia, June 16, 1887 the daughter of Oliver D. and Emily Price Nester. she came to Star Valley when about the age of 14.
In Jan. 1906 she was married at Afton by President George Osmond to Charles Anderson. To this union eight children were born, five of whom survive her. Two children were stillborn and one died in infancy. Her husband survives her and the following sons and daughters; Carl Anderson, Afton; Ernest Anderson, Montpelier; Ollie Anderson, Afton; Eva Anderson, Afton; and Mrs James (Lola) Reddicker, San Diego Calif. Four grandchildren survive her and she also has one living brother, Larry Nester, of Grace Idaho.
A devoted and faithful wife and mother; Mrs Anderson won the respect of all her associates and the community.
