Herbert E. Anderson, 69, long time resident of the Idaho Falls area, died of a heart ailment in Phoenix, Ariz., where he has been living for the past three months, according to information received here. He had been a farmer and threshing machine operator.
He was born Jan. 28, 1885 at Dawson, Minn., a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anderson. The family moved to Idaho when he was a small boy. In July, 1915, he was married to Mimie L. VanEpps, and the couple made their home in Idaho Falls. They moved to Rigby in 1931, and Mrs. Anderson died in 1939. He was later married to Mrs. Ruby Wolverton, Pocatello.
He is survived by his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Faye Rogers, Idaho Falls, and by two sisters, Mrs. Amanda McBride, Boise, and Mrs. Esther Cutler, Seattle.
