JOHN WILSON ANDERSON, SR., 86, of Richmond, TX entered into rest peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2009. Born in Houston, TX on January 25, 1923, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Grace Marie (Tiger), his son, John, Jr. and granddaughter, Lori Beth.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Carole Ann Wheeler and her husband, Bill; son, Allen Lee and his wife, Vickie; grandchildren, Lisa and her husband, Rick, Kimberly, Stephanie and her husband, Joel, Tracy and her husband, Vernon, John David and his wife, Beth, Trey and his wife, Debbie, Buddy, Amanda, Will, Richie and Daniel. He also leaves to cherish his memory numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

John proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. He was CEO of Exchanger Repair Service (Almeda, TX) and also CEO of GraBon (Richmond, TX). He was a member and avid golfer at the Fort Bend Country Club, Past President of the Space City T's. He enjoyed driving and touring around in his 1910 Ford Model T Touring Car. He was a member of Morton Lodge #72, A.F. & A.M. He will be greatly missed by all his family, friends and neighbors.

The family is especially grateful to Jacquelyn Roberts and Bill & Jeanell Brooks. The family received friends from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2009 at SouthPark Funeral Home.

A Celebration of John's Life was held at 12:00 Noon Monday, March 16, 2009 in the Chapel of SouthPark Funeral Home with Rev. David Luckter and Richard George officiating. Interment followed at SouthPark Cemetery. Please visit www.southparkfunerals.com to send words of comfort to the family.
