Ronald H. Anderson, 77, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Saturday, December 30, 2006, at National Heath Care in Mauldin. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Ronald was the son of the late Constance and Hubert Anderson.

He received an honorable medical discharge from the United States Army. Ronald retired as Senior Industrial Engineer from the Chrysler Corporation in Detroit, Mich., in 1981.

Following his retirement, he enjoyed traveling, fishing, reading and working on the staffs of the Maranatha Bible Conference in Muskegon, Mich., and the Keswick Bible Conference in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Ronald and his wife moved from Clearwater, Fla., to the Mauldin area seven years ago. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Simpsonville.

Preceding him in death were his stepmother, Rose Anderson; half-brothers, Alvin Anderson and Norman Anderson; half-sisters, Effie Elease Rodden and Marilyn Raymer.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy Anderson; three half-brothers, Ronald Raymer, Walter Raymer, and Roger Raymer; two half-sisters, Dorothy Gadany and Sally Baker all of Michigan; a stepsister, Helen Gallien; a sister-in-law, Joyce Wilson and her husband, Jesse, all of North Carolina, and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends and precious caregivers.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 2, 2007, at 11 a.m. at The Mackey Mortuary with the Rev. Randy Harling officiating.

Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8pm at the mortuary.
