Alice was the 11th child of 15 children born to Hans Christian Andersen and Minnie Helmina Davidsen Paulsen Andersen.

She passed away after a week-long illness of typhoid fever. She was 2 years and 3 months old at the time of her death.

Lillian passed away exactly one week after her 12-year-old brother Jacob died from typhoid fever as well. See the dual funeral card on the right.

Note: The baby stroller in the picture is quite beautiful. I wonder if it was made by a family member.
