Harry L. Anders, 64, of the Comers Rock community of Elk Creek, died July 1, 2009 at his residence.
He was born Aug. 26, 1944, in Fries, to the late Thomas J. and Bessie M Pruitt Anders.
He is survived by his wife Sybil Cornett Anders; son and spouse, Brian and Rhonda Anders; two grandchildren; two brothers and a spouse, Newton and Mary Lou Anders, and Dean Anders; one sister and spouse, Juanita and Robert Lanter; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held July 5 in Reins-Sturdivant Chapel, Independence, with interment in Comers Rock Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Shupe officiated.
