Services for Mrs. Nora W. Anders, of Arcadia, were held at 10 Fri July 25 at the First Baptist Church in Arcadia. Dr. Johnnie Adkins officiated, assisted by the Revs. Mark Strickland and Sidney Woodruff. Burial was held at Arcadia Cemetery under the direction of Conger's Funeral Home of Arcadia.

Mrs. Anders, a native of Paris, Ark., died Wed July 23, 1986, at Bienville General Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was reared in Claiborne Parish, La and had been a resident of Arcadia since 1918, where she was the former owner of the Arcadia Flower & Gift Shop, from which she retired.

Mrs. Anders was a charter member of the P.E.O. Arcadia Chapter.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Betty Lynn Jordan of Haynesville, La.; one son, Milton Gussie Cook of Homer, La; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Anders.
Pallbearers were John Stark, Jr., Harold Talbert, J. M. Lamkin, Jr., Guye Corley, John Futch, Joe Storey, Dan Maddenk and Bryan Bordelon.

Honorary pallbearers were Board of Deacons of the First Baptist Church of Arcadia.
